How They Met
Dewdrops covered the fauna planted on Coruscant near the Senate. Maebelle was stationed to ensure peaceful negotiations and diplomacy could be carried out without Sith interference. Maebelle stood alert while a small Jedi excursion arrived. She nodded to the group. Before she turned she noticed a small pouch of credits fell amongst the group. She rushed in time to locate them near the main hall.
"Excuse me, did one of you-" Before she could finish a tall man with auburn eyes and chestnut locks of hair interrupted her.
"Why, thank you! Hard to buy lunch let alone settle debts without this." He grinned laughingly.
"No need to thank me." She returned a warm smile.
His eyes lit up at the warmth of her smile. Her smile grew awkward as the conversation died due to his lovelorn expression. She cleared her throat.
"Uh, what was your name?" She questioned.
"Kayton Garpor. The pleasure is mine.."
" It's Maebelle, Maebelle Singh." She pursed her lips not to give off another flirtatious vibe.
"Mmm. Maebelle Singh, it has a nice ring to it."
"Thank my grandparents for that. Anyways, don't you have somewhere to be?" She gestured toward her holocom.
"Oh, right. See you around, Maebelle." He ran off to catch up with the long-gone group.

Maebelle managed to rendevous with Kayton even running missions together. They kept in touch more than often. As the cliche saying goes, the two were inseparable. However, despite their combined efforts in defeating the Sith, ensuring peace for the republic, and their successes, the suspicion of the Jedi Council as there was more than meets the eye with the two of them. The chemistry the two shared hadn't gone unnoticed by their masters. In an attempt to settle the matter, both Master Jedi Braemar and Jaxsari felt it best to address them separately. The two confided in each other and decided it best to rescind from the Jedi Order once and for all.
"Are we doing the right thing? Are we sure? The way of the Jedi is all I've ever known." Maebelle questioned herself with a panicked tone.
"I'm 100% sure about us, about our values and what we believe in. I love you. I love us."
"I love us too. What about our future and why can't things remain the same? We haven't embraced anything but our passion. Love brought us together and the proof is our example. Look at us."
"That is not the way, but we embraced what they choose not to. It's okay to be afraid, but I'm here for you and here for us no matter where the journey takes us."
The two embraced while Maebelle cried. It was daunting to leave the order and all she's ever known. Being a Jedi meant the world but now Kayton was her world. Why couldn't she have both? Love won. They soon were wed. Her beliefs shifted about the Jedi and the resistance of emotions has forever changed. They fled to start a life on Naboo. Like the plants that bloomed, so did their family life. Over the years, Maebelle managed to give birth to four daughters, Nuthina, Lalitha, Amita, and Deepika. Maebelle and Kayton lived on Naboo for years and focused on raising their beautiful children.
